Refund policy
**ALL products are subject to a 3% cancellation fee to cover payment processing charges**
Pick up Orders:
Orders not picked up by the specified date will not be refunded and products will not be kept.
Please contact us at least 6 hours before your scheduled pick up to cancel your order and to receive a refund (except for designer cakes/macarons) minus a 3% cancellation fee. Cancellations after this time will only receive 50% refund.
Designer & Custom Items:
These require at least 72 hours advance notice for cancellations and any refund. These are subject to 3% cancellation fee. *We reserve the right to only refund 50% if your cake is already in production. Cancellations in under 72 hours will not be refunded.
As we need to ensure your custom products will be made in a timely manner, early preparation will sometimes be required (taking into account delivery from our Scarborough location (where everything is produced)).
As a result, we may not be able to make some adjustments (i.e. flavour change, or colour/design change, etc.) or provide refunds in certain scenarios.
Custom macarons that are already produced will not be refunded.
Wedding Cakes:
All cancellations are subject to a 3% fee, and must be made at least 14 days in advance, for a refund (no exceptions). Adjustments/changes also require 14 days advanced notice. We reserve the right to only refund partially (amount decided by us) if your cake is already in production. Cost of wedding cake taster set (if already received) will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
Delivery Orders:
Please verify that all information is correct before proceeding. Packages will not be redelivered if the incorrect address is given. As soon as an order is placed, the cancellation fee is $5 (charged by third party delivery service) + 3% (on the products) and date changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance (additional charges will apply). For date changes made in under 24 hours, another delivery fee is required. For cancellations after 4pm the day prior to the delivery, the delivery fee will not be refunded.
Daan Go Points:
Points cannot be retrospectively added to an order that is already placed.
ALL Orders:
Please note that we do not offer refunds unless the cake/product is returned to us for inspection. Return shipping or transportation costs are not covered by Daan Go Cake Lab, and return arrangements must be made by the customer.
Once the product has been received and reviewed by our team, we will assess the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.
